I am so proud to call this lady one of my best friends and past research partner. She reminds me every chance she gets to make good choices, work hard, and keep a positive outlook. It was an absolute joy today to watch her present at the graduate student symposium on her research regarding the dynamics of oxbow lakes, specifically Cocha Cashu, on the Madre de Dios River. I never would have thought our 3 day research project two summers ago could go so far and have so many cool implications. Good work, Alison! Can't wait to see this baby published.
