Day 1 and 2 - Southbound / by An

I am incredibly excited to share these photos. This trip has been life-changing to say the least and I will try my best to put my feelings into words. Hopefully the photos will do a lot of the talking. With that said, let's go to Cusco!

Danielle and I ran into Zac at the Lima airport. We were on the same flight to Cusco!

Our wonderful Hostel Pariwana. We arrived at 9AM but couldn't check in until 1PM. What else to do when you're dead tired from 20 hours of traveling and already feeling the side effects of the altitude medicine? EXPLORE!

The street right outside our hostel. Just a few blocks away from Plaza de Armas, the main square.

No such thing as pedestrians having the right of way.

Sasha arrived a couple of hours after we did. We all had dinner at a place in the square that night.
Decided to play it safe and ate somewhere touristy.

Exhausted. But wait, isn't INSOMNIA one of the side effects of altitude sickness?

This will not replace the photo-a-day project. I will still be taking pictures daily but you will see a compilation of photos at the end of each week instead of one post everyday. Also, my apologies for the delay in posts. Technical difficulties with full hard drives and such.
