Another quarter: gone, and the gospel choir returns to perform songs we have been learning over the past 9 weeks. This was really the only time this week I will have to let loose and have a good time, because after today, all hell breaks loose as I try to finish up term papers and prepare for finals.
What was up with this church? There were no windows... What happened to the ethereal lighting from stained glass windows and lofty, intricate ceilings that pull the eyes up to the heavens? Bring me back to 15th century France (not really)! Bring me back to gothic! And buttresses! Oh the beautiful buttresses.
So here it goes, the final plunge. And when we come up, it will be spring break. HALLELUJAH.
