32. Sand, Wind, and Scarf / by An

What do you do when you've got three hours in between classes and a wide angle at your disposal?
Go to the beach, of course! I love how everything is just a bus ride away when you're in Seattle (even Portland!).

The clouds were so epic! WAHHPhotobucket

My scarf seemed to enjoy the insanely windy conditions.

My hair did not.

Then the scarf started to look like a cape...

I didn't realize I was shooting RAW until I got home. It's a good thing I did though, because I probably would have lost some tonal detail had I been using JPEG. On a day like this especially, when the last thing you want is to overexpose the clouds. Or maybe the pictures are better because I was shooting with a much better camera... Anyways, this gave me a chance to edit with Lightroom since Photoshop was being fussy with the RAW files. Now I understand why some people at work rave about Lightroom so much. I myself am torn.

Thanks to Riley for taking pictures.
